ANAHEIM, Calif. Doug McDermott Jersey . - Hockey fans in Orange County are used to watching one powerful line dominate games with size, speed and a slick scoring touch.Nick Bjugstad, Brad Boyes and Jonathan Huberdeau were that dominant line for the Florida Panthers on Sunday night, much to the embarrassment of Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry and the Anaheim Ducks.Bjugstad had two goals and two assists, and Boyes scored twice during the Panthers four-goal second period in a 6-2 victory.Huberdeau and Vincent Trocheck also scored as Florida opened a four-game road trip with a stunning blowout of the West-leading Ducks. Jussi Jokinen and Brian Campbell had two assists apiece in the highest-scoring performance of the season by the Panthers, who had an NHL-low 27 goals entering the game.It was just one of those games where everything was clicking, and we were all working hard, said Bjugstad, who had the highest-scoring game of his young career. We knew what we were up against, and we were up to the challenge. That was exciting.Boyes ended an eight-game goal drought and scored his 450th career point, adding an assist while staking Florida to a five-goal lead in the third period. He combined for nine points with Bjugstad and Huberdeau, who also had an assist.Al Montoya made 33 saves for the Panthers, who hadnt won in Anaheim since Nov. 9, 2008.It was an archetypal trap game for the Ducks, who faced Florida between a home-and-home set with the archrival Los Angeles Kings and two upcoming Pacific Division games in western Canada. The Panthers made sure the Ducks fell straight into the snare.(Anaheim) played yesterday in Los Angeles and had a tough, emotional game, Florida coach Gerard Gallant said. We caught them a little bit flat, for sure.Hampus Lindholm and Andrew Cogliano scored for the Ducks, whose seven-game points streak ended in their fifth loss in six games despite the return of Perry, who missed the previous five games with mumps.I felt better than I expected, but it didnt go the way we planned for anybody, said Perry, the NHLs first star for October. It was an off night for all of us. Theyve got some speed and some firepower over there, and they showed it tonight.Kyle Palmieri also made his season debut for the Ducks, who had gone to overtime in their last five games, setting a franchise record. They couldnt keep it close after Frederik Andersen gave up three goals on Floridas first nine shots, getting chased for the second time in three games. No one in this room was ready, starting from the net on out, said Andersen, who returned for the third period after Jason LaBarbera gave up two more goals. Thats unacceptable in this league, and we paid for it.Anaheims improved defence has yielded 14 goals in three games, culminating with an inept effort that the Ducks didnt blame on their goalies.I think were just embarrassed, Getzlaf said. Its embarrassing to play like that in our building. Top to bottom, we werent very good. We emotionally werent there. We didnt make any plays that we needed to do.Palmieri returned after sitting out 18 games with a sprained ankle, but injury-plagued Anaheim still is without defenceman Francois Beauchemin, who missed his fourth game with mumps, while Tim Jackman missed the game with the flu. After Trocheck and Lindholm traded goals in the first period, Boyes put the Panthers back ahead early in the second when a sharp pass from Huberdeau deflected off his skate. Bjugstad chased Andersen moments later with a sharp-angled shot.NOTES: Teemu Selanne and Saku Koivu watched the game from a luxury suite. The longtime Ducks stars received a rousing ovation when they were shown on the video scoreboard. ... Anaheim put Devante Smith-Pelly on injured reserve to make room for Perry and Palmieri. Smith-Pelly missed his second straight game with an upper-body injury. ... Montoya got a rare start in place of Roberto Luongo, who historically struggles at Honda Center. ... Anaheim D Josh Manson got his first career NHL point with an assist on Coglianos goal. Alize Johnson Jersey . Some members of the U.S. Congress arent so sure. They say Russia isnt doing enough to assure that athletes will be protected at the Feb. 7-23 games, happening not far from an Islamic insurgency that Russias huge security apparatus has struggled for two decades to quell. Russia may run greater risks in towns outside the tightly controlled Olympic zone. Suicide bombs last month a few hundred kilometres (miles) away have increased concerns, and an Islamic warlord has urged his followers to attack the Sochi Olympics, Russian President Vladimir Putins pet project. Victor Oladipo Jersey . At quarterback, all agree that Andy Dalton has been a wonderful surprise, but to truly progress he has to play his best in the playoffs. The two losses in the wildcard rounds keep the evaluation on Dalton open -- just like it did for Peyton Manning many years ago and Matt Ryan until last year. http://www.cheappacersjerseyssale.com/kids-thaddeus-young-pacers-jersey/ .Johnny there, who knew he had that speed? teammate Tommy Wingels said.Scott and Matt Irwin were unlikely goal-scorers Tuesday night as the previously stingy San Jose Sharks finally sprung a leak or two, blowing a pair of three-goal leads before coming away with a 6-5 shootout victory over the Washington Capitals.Welcome to a very unique UFC Fight Night breakdown. This event is going down May 10th in Cincinnati. The main event is a welterweight fight that will give the winner a huge step on the path to a title shot. This weeks Takedown pits me, Jordan Cieciwa (@FitCityJordan) against 11 year-old Gabriella McAlpine (@WebSodaGirl) on the picks. Gabriella (Gabzilla) McAlpine is one of the biggest fans of MMA out there. Creating a name for herself online by interviewing some of the biggest stars in MMA, shes someone to watch as she hits the mats and learns the sport herself. We invite you to get on twitter and join the battle. #TeamGabZilla or #TeamJC. Wed love to hear your picks and argue our decisions. Matt Brown vs. Erick Silva JC: Well, Im a fan of experience. That means in this one Ive got to go with Matt Brown. Hes 18-11, and on a six-fight win streak. Silva is 3-3. I believe Silva has the advantage when it comes to the ground game, but not when you take into account the striking. I dont see this going all five rounds. Matt Brown will get his KO. Gabzilla: I think Erick Silva will take the win. He is evenly matched as a striker but on the ground be is more technical and has finished more fights using grappling. Lorenz Larkin vs. Constantinos Philippou JC: Costas Philippou is one of those "never out of the fight" fighters. He hits a ton, and has the ability to stay on his feet. Lorenz Larkin is an excellent all-round fighter, but with the striking edge and toughness going to Philippou I think this night will end mid-second round with Philippou getting a solid KO. Gabzilla: I believe that Lorenz Larkin wwill take the win. Paul George Jersey. This is an evenly matched fight that is so close on paper, but I have to give a slight edge to Larkin. Daron Cruickshank vs. Erik Koch JC: Erik Koch and Daron Cruickshank should be a barn burner of a fight. Im actually a huge Koch fan and he gets the wins any way he can. Hes a great all-around athlete and if his striking isnt working he can take this to the ground. Cruickshank is an aggressive fighter. I think its going to be his downfall. Im expecting Koch to end this in the third round with a submission. Gabzilla: This is another very evenly matched fight. But my pick is Cruickshank, the Detroit Superstar, because of his striking, aggression and takedown defence. Neil Magny vs. Tim Means JC: Tim Means should end this night with a decision win over Neil Magny. I dont see this one ending before we reach the end of three rounds, but Means has the experience and striking skill to make sure he wins this one. Gabzilla: I will have to give it to Tim Means because of his record. He is so much more experienced in MMA with a 20-5-1 record as opposed to Magny with only a 9-4 record. Means has great hands and I think that will dictate the fight. Soa Palelei vs. Ruan Potts JC: If you have been watching heavyweight MMA then you know that the Australian heavyweight Soa Palelei is the real deal. I never count a fighter out, however, Ruan Potts just does not have what it takes to survive a Palelei striking onslaught. Expect an aggressive first round KO. Gabzilla: Hands down I think that Soa Palelei will win by KO. Based on experience, his striking capabilities and aggression.
