Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each scored 21 points to help the Golden State Warriors extend their winning streak to 13 games with a 102-86 rout of the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. The Warriors, already in the midst of a franchise-record winning streak, ran its road winning streak to eight games which had never been done during the franchises history. Shaun Livingston and Marreese Speights both netted 12 points and Draymond Green added 10 points with 10 rebounds in the win. Warriors center Andrew Bogut left the game after just two minutes in with right knee irritation. Andrew Wiggins totaled 21 points with six rebounds and Shabazz Muhammad chipped in with 14 points off the bench for Minnesota, which lost a sixth consecutive game. The Warriors opened up a 7-1 lead after Festus Ezelis dunk, but Thaddeus Young countered with five straight points to close the gap. The margin was still a point when Golden State ripped off a 10-2 run to make it 21-12, but the Timberwolves closed to within five, 25-20, entering the second. Minnesota continued to stay close with the hottest team in the NBA as Zach LaVines flush at the midway point of the second cut the deficit to 36-34. However, the Warriors answered with a 9-1 burst and led 48-39 at the break. The visitors broke the game open in the latter stages of the third when Curry, Green and Speights all contributed to an 11-0 run that made it 73-56.
