Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Andrew Wiggins continued his recent tear and led the Timberwolves to another victory, as Minnesota downed the Denver Nuggets 113-105 at Pepsi Center on Saturday. Wiggins poured in a career-high 31 points on 11-of-17 shooting and added nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks in Minnesotas second win in the past three games. Last years No. 1 overall pick has averaged 21.4 points over his last 13 games. Part of his success has been that hes learned how to prepare for games, Minnesota coach Flip Saunders said of Wiggins. Thaddeus Young chipped in with 22 points and Robbie Hummel added 15 with 13 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who shot 53.8 percent from the field and 19- of-21 from the foul line. Ty Lawson paced the Nuggets with 22 points, while J.J. Hickson recorded a double-double off the bench with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
