Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf was a late scratch before Game 4 against the Dallas Stars on Wednesday. The Ducks twitter account made the announcement less than an hour before game-time, saying he is day-to-day with an upper body injury. Getzlaf left Dallas and flew back to Anaheim on Wednesday night to begin treatment on the injury. In Game 1, Getzlaf suffered a deep facial laceration and received numerous stitches after taking a slapshot to the head. He returned to play the next two games.
