Kyle MacKinnon scored once for the IceCaps (31-19-4) and assisted on goals by John Albert and Patrice Cormier. Freddie Hamilton recorded the lone goal for the Sharks (23-24-4), who dropped their fourth straight game and second in a row to St. Johns. Harri Sateri turned aside 18-of-21 shots for Worcester. Albert opened the scoring for the IceCaps with a shorthanded goal at 17:42 of the first period. Hamilton responded for the Sharks 21 seconds into the second period.
