Brown said it was a season Antworten

No name is hotter in fantasy circles this week than Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson. Not too surprising this time of year, when fantasy players are trying to gear up to either push their teams into the playoffs or set themselves up for a deep run in the single-elimination tournament.Peterson, who has been away from the Vikings for nearly two months, reached a plea agreement on a child abuse charge that means he will avoid jail time and a trial. The resolution still leaves it unclear whether Peterson might rejoin the team and play this year. The chance is enough to make fantasy players push Peterson as one of the most-added players in Yahoo, CBS Sports and ESPN leagues. After all, he was a top-three pick in most drafts and the possibility he could play is enough to gamble on for some fantasy owners. But what can you realistically expect — top-three running back numbers? Experts are all over the map but appear to be playing things conservative, essentially basing rankings on whether they think hell play, and how much. Its key with a player in this situation to temper expectations, and if a rival in your league is too optimistic for your comfort, pounce with a well-timed trade. Here are some other players expected to come back soon to uncertain fantasy futures:___JOSH GORDONThe Cleveland wide receiver has a home on a roster in nearly two-thirds of Yahoo leagues, with fantasy hopefuls squatting on a potential Week 12 return from suspension. But even Browns general manager Ray Farmer says its not certain Gordon will have a major role when he comes back. Farmer said players have to find a way to fit into the team.Do you kind of disrupt what you are just to make sure that one person gets the ball? Farmer said Tuesday. Teams win. Talent doesnt.Except in fantasy football, where talent trumps team results and a 100-yard, two-TD performance in a losing game is more desirable than 60 yards that moved the chains in a win. When on the field, Gordon is as good as any receiver. But it might take a game or two to see him put up eye-popping numbers. And if youre expecting similar results to his stats from last year, just look at the numbers: 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games.Tough to replicate.___RYAN MATHEWSMathews is practicing again and appears to have a good chance of coming back when the Chargers play the Raiders on Nov. 16. With all the injuries in San Diegos backfield, a great matchup against Oakland and a bad loss in its last game, dont be surprised if the running back is welcomed back with a touchdown or two and a good number of carries when the Chargers start watching the clock. Then you can decide whether to keep him or shop him.___FRED JACKSONJackson has been known to bounce back from injury, and the Bills need him badly as they play without C.J. Spiller. He returned to limited practice this week, but dont take that as a sign he will play this weekend against Kansas City.He was hurt Oct. 19 and originally scheduled to be out four weeks.___Oskar Garcia can be reached on Twitter at http://twitter.com/oskargarcia Corey Kluber Indians Jersey . Henry, who missed three games with a knee injury, was charged with a handball in the penalty area in the 82nd minute as he went to block a strike from Patrick Mullins. On the ensuing penalty kick, Lee Nguyen picked up his fourth goal of the season, giving the Revolution a 2-1 win Saturday afternoon. Graig Nettles Jersey . "He started putting me on the ice to strengthen them at the suggestion from a doctor," he said. Weight said it wasnt a pretty sight at the rink in St. Clair Shores, Mich. "I looked like Forrest Gump," he joked. https://www.cheapindiansonline.com/1818u...ey-indians.html. The game had many controversial incidents that, upon closer inspection, were not as controversial as many believed. The Formations Toronto FC lined up in its usual 4-4-2 formation, with Nick Hagglund slotting in at right fullback and Bradley Orr at centreback in place of the injured Mark Bloom and Steven Caldwell, respectively. Christian Arroyo Indians Jersey . Fifth-seeded Cilic gained his fourth title in Zagreb and became the third Croat overall to win at least 10 career titles. Cilic also lifted his career record in Zagreb to 22-4, winning 20 of his last 21 matches at the event. Rick Sutcliffe Jersey . Wiggins, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward who plays his first exhibition game on Wednesday against Pitt State, was the top prospect in the class of 2013.MIAMI -- For Philadelphia, the season finale was about whats coming next year. For Miami, its about whats coming next week. And really, nothing else mattered. Thaddeus Young scored 20 points, Michael Carter-Williams had 12 in the final game of his impressive rookie campaign, and the 76ers wrapped up a dismal season by topping the Heat 100-87 on Wednesday night for their second win of the season over the two-time defending NBA champions. Brandon Davies had 11 points, while Henry Sims, James Anderson and Casper Ware each scored 10 for the 76ers (19-63). "We stuck together," Young said. "We did a very good job of staying together, playing as a cohesive unit. Sometimes the odds were stacked against us but we didnt let that get us down." Dwyane Wade scored 16 points in 23 minutes for Miami (54-28), which got 13 from Toney Douglas and 11 from Ray Allen. Shane Battier -- in his final season barring a seismic change of heart -- scored nine points and eclipsed the 30,000-minute mark in his regular-season career. "Couldnt be more proud of my guy," Battiers wife, Heidi Battier, wrote on Twitter. Her husband half-seriously talked about the milestone with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra earlier in the day. "If you had told me when I was a little boy that one day youre going to play 30,000 regular-season NBA minutes, Id have said Get out of here," Battier said. "Even at 35, 13 years in, the novelty of playing in the NBA and living my dream is still there." The Heat -- who came into the night locked into the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs -- rested LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Mario Chalmers, Rashard Lewis and Chris Andersen, and found out before the game that their quest for a third straight NBA title opens Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Their first-round opponent: Charlotte. "That team competes very hard," Wade said. Miami went 4-0 against the Bobcats this season, though one was a one-point game and another went to overtime. And since Miami landed James and Bosh, the Heat are 15-0 against the club now owned by Michael Jordan, a guy who knows a thing or two about three-peats and whose jersey was retired long ago in MMiami as a show of respect.dddddddddddd "Theyre a worthy, worthy opponent," Spoelstra said of the Bobcats. "So weve got to get to work." The last time Miami and Charlotte met was March 3, when James scored a career-high 61 points. Wednesdays game was decided in the third, when the 76ers outscored the Heat 29-15. By then, Wade had played 23 minutes in one last tuneup, and the Heat seemed content to get the second season started. "Our record doesnt show we had a good season but the main thing is we stayed together," Carter-Williams said. Philadelphia finished with the leagues second-worst record, but has the expected rookie of the year in Carter-Williams and could have as many as seven picks -- two of them out of the lottery -- in this years draft. This year was bleak. The future shouldnt be in Philly. "The relief that the season has ended truly does not creep into my mind because its trumped by the excitement that I see going forward," 76ers coach Brett Brown said. "Im so excited to watch the direction of ping-pong balls. Im so excited to watch what we do with our summer leagues. ... I see the foundation." Brown said it was a season where he wanted to emphasize fitness and start building a culture when it comes to professionalism in terms of absorbing scouting reports, weight-room sessions and studying video. He thinks that was accomplished. "At times I get excited because I think I know something others may not," Brown said. "I feel like were heading in the right direction. I hope we can get some luck with the draft and move our program forward." NOTES: It was Fan Appreciation Night in Miami, and Battier addressed the sellout crowd in a brief pregame ceremony. "Lets go Heat and lets go get this ring," said Battier, who logged nearly 40 minutes, his most since the 2011-12 season. ... Brown, who was an assistant with San Antonio before taking the 76ers job last summer, plans to fly there Thursday night to visit with Gregg Popovich and the Spurs staff. ... Greg Oden returned to the Miami lineup, his first appearance since March 26 because of back issues and more recently, a stomach virus. He had two points and five rebounds in 13 minutes. ' ' '
